Indian Diaspora in Europe প্রোজেক্টে আমার প্রোফাইল

প্রখ‍্য‍্যাত ফটোগ্রাফার সাংবাদিক কৌন্তেয় সিহ্না কিছুদিন আগে আমার একটি ইন্টারভিউ করেন তাঁর Indian Diaspora in Europe প্রোজেক্টের জন‍্য‍। তিনজন ফটোগ্রাফার সাংবাদিক এই প্রোজেক্টের জন‍্য‍ ইউরোপে নানা দেশে বসবাসী ভারতীয়দের নিয়ে ছবি আধারিত রিপোর্ট তৈরী করছেন, যা সঙ্কলিত হবে একটি প্রদর্শনীতে এবং প্রকাশিত হবে একটি বইয়ের আকারে। তাঁর তোলা আমার এই ছবিটি স্থান পেয়েছে এই প্রোজেক্টের Instagram পেজ-এ।

আমার ব‍্যাপারে কৌন্তেয় সিহ্নার লিখেছেন:

She started writing a Bengali blog in April this year. And in just six months, 44-year-old housewife turned writer Maitreyee Kumar has over 8,000 followers. Her work ranges from the history of Bengal and its festivals to comic short stories. She has also become a social commentator – writing columns on anything from the recent flyover collapse in Bengal to the canonisation of Mother Teresa. In Europe for the past 12 years, Kumar rues how text messages have replaced long hand written letters. “Living in a foreign country is tough. Everyone thinks living abroad is glamorous.
